Bluefish (May-July, 8 hour)

Bigger Bluefish typically run thick 30 miles offshore (20 fathoms) May through July. Our goal is to put fish in the box and we go where necessary to do so. Most vessels only run 8-15 miles for bluefish May through July when most times the fish are further offshore. We go where the fish are.

Shark (June-July, 8 hour)

Mako typically is 30-50 miles offshore. We always have plenty of bait and chum for a full day of sharking!

Canyon Troll (June-October, 14 hour)

(Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi-Mahi, White/Blue Marlin, Wahoo)
We troll 9 Rods giving us the best opportunity to hook up. Our range includes the Cateret, Lindenkohl, Spencer, Wilmington, Baltimore and Poormans Canyons. We determine our destination based on fishing reports and water temperatures reviewed daily. We also carry light spinning tackle and bait to catch Mahi when they are holding on a weed line or lobster pots!!

Bluefin Tuna (June-Sept, 12 hour)

Chunking/Jigging/Trolling
We target Bluefin by both slow trolling horse Ballyhoo and Chucking/Jigging.

Flounder/SeaBass (June-Sept, 6 hour)

Our best Flounder/SeaBass fishing occurs on the Reefs out in the ocean (4-12 miles). We use fresh strip baits and bucktails on light tackle on these reefs.

Striped Bass/Bluefish (Late Oct, Nov and Dec, 6 hour)

By far the BEST inshore fishing of the year occurs late-October through mid-December!! Large schools of Stripers and big bluefish run down the coast just a few miles off of the beach (typically only a 15-20 minute run)!! We mostly troll for these fish since this method typically out produces jigging/drifting 10-1! However if the fish are really thick we will stop the boat and break out the light tackle!
