About the Captain

 

John Breitling has fished the waters off New Jersey for over 30 years.  Prior to captaining his own charter boat, John served as a mate on New Jersey Charter/Party boats and dive boats.  In addition to his fishing expertise, John also has wreck diving experience off the coast of New Jersey.

 

About The Boat

 

The Sea Tiger is a 35 foot diesel powered fiberglass commercial fishing boat, built by Bruno & Stillman.  It cruises at 10 - 12 knots.  For  your comfort and safety, this boat has four bunks, an enclosed head, a heated cabin, a life raft and life vests.  The boat is insured and permitted to carry from 1 - 6 passengers.  The captain is licensed by the US Coast Guard to operate the vessel.

  • Two VHF Radios

  • Auto Pilot

*  All charters are approximately 6-8 hours long. Half day trips are also available.

Boat Policies:

  1. No Illegal Drugs of Any Kind

  2. No Firearms of Any Kind

  3. Any special medical problems or needs must be reported to the captain before the trip begins.

  4. Passengers should bring their own food and beverages (cans/plastic bottles only), have sandwiches made beforehand, and no large coolers.  The boat has a large ice box for  your fish.

  5. All bait, tackle and ice will be supplied.

  6. A $100 deposit is required within 7 days to reserve a date.  The remaining balance is due before the boat leaves the dock.  In the event of bad weather (determined only by the Captain), we offer an alternate date.  Customer cancellation requires 7 day advance notice.

  7. The trip will be terminated if any passenger is found to be intoxicated or if any boat policies are not followed.
